When Sexy Mannequins Come to Life Pt. 2
I could imagine a crazy science fiction story involving female mannequins coming to life. It would start in a shopping mall. Families admire clothing on the display mannequins when all of a sudden, a nearby nuclear power plant explodes. Because of the fallout shelter style architecture of most malls, everyone is safe – but the display mannequins are forever transformed.
Fortunately, the mall is now full of tall, beautiful, well-dressed women. They aren’t crazy, they don’t drink blood or stagger with their arms held in front of them like Frankenstein; they are polite and gorgeous.
The plot could get tricky here, but somehow these women, quondam female mannequins, need to escape. They want more in life than just wearing nice clothes and being beautiful. They see how the families interact, huddled close in the food court, spoon feeding each other, and they want the same thing. They want love.
They begin to wonder what goes on outside the mall’s doors, they want new experiences, they have grown bored with all of these suburbanites. And so the one time female mannequins band together and leave the mall. Unfortunately, the nuclear energy has not dulled enough, and so they all develop cancerous tumors within a few weeks – but this is satisfying. After seeing the world’s evils and being repulsed by the poverty, sadness, and war, they want to die.
All we have to do now is flesh out a screenplay!
