An old female mannequin with a hollow look in her eyes is lifeless and dull; she has no pizzazz, no character; you might as well drape your clothing on a hanger. A sexy mannequin can imitate a beautiful woman, with hair rumpled, breasts heaving, and small knees and elbows tied close together – some display mannequins provoke and conjure thoughts they really shouldn’t.
Lifelike mannequins, as opposed to a standup dummy with glass eyes and a drooping eyelid, mechanically lifting one arm, are a much better way to get people to realize your mannequins, which means they’re paying more attention to your merchandise, however unconsciosly. If you momentarily forget the mannequin is fake, that’s okay, that’s a good thing. You’re supposed to admire her and want to be her.
Your store can use new female mannequins if business has been slacking, or your current female mannequins are old, dusty, or robotic. Choose display mannequins that make a statement, that drive attention to the mannequin, and the clothes she’s wearing. That way people will get excited about the products you clad her in. Choose the female mannequin that best fits your product line, whether you sell lingerie, jewelry or outerwear.
